Our greatest desire is to help you worship God freely

What a Mighty God we serve, and it is the book of Psalms that declares this with beauty and grace.

Our end-of-year showcase was a fantastic opportunity to dance through various chapters from the book of Psalms, with each dance translating the scriptures and reminding us of how God loves us, protects us, fights for us and is always in control.

Our prayer for this evening was Psalm 23. We prayed that as the people experienced each dance, that their heads would be anointed with oil and their cups overflow. And as we closed the evening, we had the honour of doing just as Psalm 149 vs 3 says: “We praised His name with dancing.”

“Our concert showcase entitled ‘Why I Dance’ was an opportunity to share testimonies through dance. It was a beautiful and honest way to share the stories of people who inspired me to dance, as well as to share the testimonies of the dancers themselves – why they love dancing and what it means to them. It was also an intimate visual story for our graduates and the impact that Dancing Towards Destiny has had on their lives, inspiring them to become who they are meant to be. The music was contemporary but interwoven with some good ‘oldies’. It was our prayer that both young and old would be inspired to worship, and that our testimonies showed them that worship is for everyone! As some of the elder people heard worship songs from years ago we prayed that they would be reminded of when they first fell in love with God and be inspired to once again worship Him in Spirit and Truth.”

“God of Nations is my personal favourite of all the concerts done to-date. We sourced flags from all over the world and integrated music with each group representing a specific country. I believe that this ministry evening was pivotal in the intercession for the nations. The dancers prayed for the countries they represented and on the evening of the concert we declared life, health and prosperity over every nation of this earth, and that the hearts of all men and woman – young and old – will be turned to God.”

“Our first concert and ministry evening, ‘A True Story’ was the story of loving a grandfather relating his life story to his grandchildren. He spoke of how he found God and how his life was changed, enriched and the purpose he found once he met his Maker. Our prayer for this evening was that people would look at their lives from a fresh perspective. Sometimes life becomes so busy and full that we stop seeing Gods hand in our lives. God’s life in us is like a flame, see it, appreciate it and then send it on. One heart can touch another!”
